What is life coaching? Life coaching is the process in which an individual gets supports from a professional to make changes in their life that lead to a happier and more fulfilling life. A coach works with a client to look at what stops action, what prevents from making changes and then help to create a positive, action focussed setting. So the client feels supported and inspired to make the changes that needs to made. In life coaching the focus is on the action, the goals, the future. Which has proven to be extremely helpful.

What is mindfulness coaching? Mindfulness coaching (as designed and defined by myself) means that the focus is on the here and now, using the practice of mindfulness.

Mindfulness! Simply observing what goes on, is a great tool. Especially when it comes to difficult behaviour, or patterns that we find hard to accept. In mindulfness coaching we stop critical thoughts, judgment, and just allow to be. This has proven to be a very effective way to work with difficulties, rather than pressuring to change or denying their validity.

It makes sense. Once you are accepting, you can relax. When you relax, there is space for movement, healing and change.

In my work with clients, I will always look at how we can ease the perception of our issues. In other words, we take the negativity and the stress out of it. And then make the necessary changes.

You as a client, will write you own manual, addressing your specific challenges, your goals, the way you are going to achieve your goals and along the way, your reflective journal. And I call this the process of destressing: taking the stress out of the challenge, because you will understand how to handle and deal with it. Address stress and be in control.

My Mindfulness Coaching model is a combination of positive psychology, the coaching GROW model and stress management methodologies with relaxation, meditation, breathing and other exercises.
